Wifi "Action Needed" issue

My wifi saying "Action needed", and then it says to "Open Browser and Connect", once I click that it opens a browser Tab which says "This device is Paused, open the Xfinity Fi app". During this my Internet doesn't work or buffers a lot. Is there a way to fix this issue? I have tried restarting the device which fixes the issue temporarily but same issue happens again in few hours.

user_dkkghl Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your connection issues and the paused error. I understand how that would be frustrating to have to restart and reconnect when you want to use your connection, and we appreciate the chance to help. First, I would recommend checking the network name you are connected to. If connected to the wrong network, the other user may have paused your connection. You can check your wifi name in the Xfinity app if you are not sure what your network name is.

Have you by chance tried a hard-wired connection for any of your devices to see if you have the same issue?

Thank you for your reply, I connect to the correct name every time. I have not tried using the wired connection since I don't have a wire currently but I can look into it if it doesn't get fixed soon. One thing to mention is that, my device is in my apartment and I am the only one connected to that device.

You can pick up a free Ethernet cable at one of Xfinity's store locations. One normally comes with one of our Xfi gateways; it would have been yellow if you were using one of our Xfi gateways. Also, in some cases, if you live in a community where your locations are close together, repositioning your modem can help.

Thank you. Unfortunately my gateway device didn't come with a Ethernet cable. But I will go ahead and get it from a Xfinity store. Thank you for your help
