Wi Fi going to sleep overnight

Hello everyone,

I have been having issues with my router/wifi going to sleep overnight, which disables my security camera (not an xfinity camera) from working.  I know for a fact it is the router going to sleep, because if I come out in the middle of the night, it is blinking and if I wiggle my mouse on my computer, it stops and the camera starts to work again.  This is new. How do I stop it?  I have not set anything to pause at night.

user_k84ja7, Are you using your own personal modem, or do you have one of our modems?

user_k84ja7, Can you see the paper and pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner? You may have to sign in before you can see that.

user_k84ja7, It should be the chat icon at the top right of the page.

user_k84ja7, Thank you for getting back to me. I'm not finding anything that shows our modems go into sleep mode. We may want to run through some troubleshooting with you to figure this out. Please send us a DM with your name and full address by doing the following:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

All I see is the automated chat option which I have tried three times and I'm now becoming extremely frustrated
