Why is there an outage? When will I have Internet?!?

\For 3 days now I've been told theres an "outage" and I have no internet. My neighbors who also use xfinifty have internet. I can't get in touch with ANY HUMAN BEING. What is going on? It's not weather, and if its maintenance, couldn't they give me an estimate as to when they will be done?

First. Check here for official info on any possible local outages;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.


Or you can use the Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

To access your account, will you please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
