Why is there a Sales Tax on my Internet Service?

The Internet Tax Freedom Act literally prohibits sales tax on Internet services.
According to the website (https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/IF11947) "The ITFA now prohibits all state and local taxes on internet access. The ITFA defines the term "internet access" as a "service that enables users to connect to the [i]nternet to access content, information, or other services offered over the [i]nternet."

I contacted customer support and was told "we do not have a dedicated email for this. You can directly file the complaint on the website or via phone."
