Why is the CM1000-1AZNAS supported but not the CM1000 when they are literally the same exact modem?
I just found out that my CM1000-1AZNAS netgear modem is not supported according to Comcast. Note that I actually bought a CM1000-1AZNAS, which is Amazon's packaging of the CM1000. There is literally zero difference besides packaging between the two models. There is absolutely zero reasoning for a CM1000 to not be suppported but the CM1000-1AZNAS is.
also not that in the modem itself, it will only report CM1000 regardless if you bought a CM1000-1AZNAS or a CM1000 (because again, the only difference in the "Versions" is the packaging!)

Did you read my post?
My modem works as per your site the CM1000-1AZNAS is supported, unfortnately EVERY SINGLE CM1000-1AZNAS will report back you that it's a CM1000 because the only difference between the two models is literally who packaged it (NetGear for CM1000, Amazon for CM1000-1AZNAS).
My question is, if they are the EXACT same hardware, WHY is one suppported but not the other?
Even further, WHY is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem no longer supported to begin with?
