Why is service not restored??

Yesterday was a freak storm in NJ. Yes I understand lines could have been damaged. However, my internet was totally fine during and after the storm. It was not until today, 7/4/26 that the internet went out around 9am. It is now 6:53pm and no internet. No ETA. No response from customer service. All the message says is that “when it is safe” crews will restore service “as soon as possible.” Not helpful!  It has been clear and sunny and calm all day! Where are the crews? Where is the estimate? What in the actual heck is going on? This is totally unacceptable. I want an update with specific information stat.

I'm starting to suspect nothing was being done yesterday because the didn't want to pay overtime to bring in people on the holiday.

Good afternoon @user_0ewdmn. Are you still having issues with your services?

Yes- no internet since 9am on 7/4. I understand it may take time to fix but the lack of transparency is unacceptable.
