Why is my post always marked private?

What is the reasoning for marking my post private?

I physically unplugged the modem, which is NOT easy for me as I am disabled, and the speeds improved.  But I still want to know why the heck my post is marked private.  THERE IS NO PERSONAL INFORMATION ON EITHER OF THE IMAGES. So, what's the reason?

And why can't I remotely restart my modem like I used to be able to with just a click.  For some reason that option (to restart my modem) no longer shows up for me.

Please, if nothing else, could someone explain those two things to me?  (1-why that post is marked private when there is no personal information visible and 2-why can't we send a remote signal to the modem to restart from here like we used to?

Hello, @OldeFatGuy! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Xfinity Forums! I certainly understand your concern. We have filters set up to mark all images, regardless of what information is on them, as private. This is to help protect you and other users from seeing things you don't want to see. We also have filters set up for inappropriate language, Personal information, email address, and MAC address. All set up to help protect users. When your posts are private, we are still able to see them, they are just not available to the public until a mod or admin has had the chance to review the post. I also encourage you to have a look at the Acceptable Use Policy for using the forums as well.

As for remote starting your modem, this can always be done from the Xfinity app by going into it, hitting services at the bottom, and then troubleshoot. You can also do this by logging into the website as well as asking the Xfinity Assistant to perform the reboot for you.
