Why is Ethernet connection to TG4482A slower than wi-fi?
I have an Arris TG4482A. Wi-fi speed is often > 700 Mps. However, when I connect via Ethernet, speed is only ~ 70 Mps. Why?

Bad port on the gateway? Bad or substandard (should be at lease cat 5E) Ethernet cable? Bad port on or improper configuration of the Ethernet device? Hard to tell from here . . .

Hello @User5674! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us on Forums! We value you as a customer, and I am sorry to hear that you're receiving slow speeds when hardwired to the modem. My team is here to help and would be more than happy to further troubleshoot this with you.
@EG provided some helpful information. To confirm, are you utilizing a cat5e (or greater) Ethernet cable?
