Why does my Internet connection drop at 2pm every day?

My internet connection drops out for a couple of minutes every day at 2pm.  This has been happening for months and I can't figure out why.   If I am in a Teams meeting, or remotely connected to my office computer, or just surfing the web, the internet connection will disconnect for a minute or two at 2pm every day.  Teams will reconnect automatically.  I must reconnect to my office computer manually.  Is there something scheduled to happen at 2pm daily that causes my internet connection to disconnect?

Hello @user_95ced8, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I'm sorry this has caused an inconvenience for you daily. Rest assured we will get to the bottom of this and get you taken care of. The only thing I could think of is what our cable boxes do automatically which is they restart once per day to ensure that you have all of the latest software. This restart, also known as Daily Update Time, happens by default between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM local time and can be changed. This could be what's happening with your modem, it's just going through its daily updates to keep the modem working as efficiently as possible. There is not a way for us to change the time on your modem but to make sure it is not something else I would like to look at your account more. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.
