Why did I get charged an extra $20 for additional usage

Hello my bill has been the same every single month I have done nothing different but now I get a bill for an extra $20 for additional usage? Again we didn't do anything different why are you charging us an extra $20

For more information on what counts against your data, I have included the following link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-what-counts-towards-my-data-plan. We'd be happy to look to see if there are any available offers to add unlimited data to your account so that you don't have to worry about overage charges in the future. To get started, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with the service address on the account?

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
