Which splitters can be used for 2.5g plans?

I have tried numerous splitters with no success, all have signal degradation.  I have a 2.5g service plan yet i don't receive the strength as I should due to the limits of the splitters.  What else can work with Xfinity that is not antronix brand???

As @EG has mentioned, splitters can indirectly effect the speeds but overall we would want to dive deeper into the connection. First. Speed tier /plans and splitters are not directly related. Any splitter rated for cable operation can be used with any speed tier. All brands of passive splitters have loss. Loss reduces the signal strength to the modem and to the cable modem termination system at the headend. This can indirectly affect speeds.


What do the modem's signal status values look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1 

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.


What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?

Is this with a WiFi connection ?
