When I upgraded to a 2Gbps connection my upload speed decreased from 357Mbps to 295Mbps.

I had previously been using Xfinity 1 Gbps connection since 2018 and it always registered a 357Mbps rate on upload using Ookla. Now, I'm on a 2Gbps connection and my upload rate has dropped to 295Mbps. Why is this happening? I'm a little distressed because I am a photographer and I upload a great deal of image and video files which can be large in file size.
