What splitter should I buy?

My comcast self-install kit references a splitter, but it didn't include one. I need one for my TV box and Modem.

 

Is a model like this ok?

 

It's my understanding you need the wider frequency range for MoCA support, listed as 1125MHz to 1675MHz, yet I saw another post claiming that these kinds of splitters can degrade your signal. Which is it?

Those are garbage, if your local Xfinity store is open pick up one there for free. If not, this is the kind techs use

I'll add. Never buy a splitter that's gold colored. They're junk ! That one is also made for satellite service, not cable.
