What is the recommended temperature range for operating the Xfi Pod?
I'd like to use the pod to get more coverage in my yard, but my house is brick and the signal drops dramatically once it has to be sent through the bricks. I was thinking that I could mount the pod on an extension cord in my attic right above the brick wall and that may provide enough of a space for the signal to reach the yard. My concern is that the attic can get fairly hot (Houston, Tx). Will the heat in the attic kill the pod or should that be fine?

Hello @Jrickner1, thank you for reaching out for help with your xFi Pod placement. To extend WiFi coverage to an outdoor location, it's recommended to place one of your Pods in an inside wall outlet that is closest to the outdoor area where you would like to extend WiFi coverage. Pods are not meant for outdoor use and should not be placed outside of your home. While the attic is not technically outside, I am worried that the heat and other elements would affect the pod's overall health and longevity.
