What are all these unknown connected devices?

I have more connected devices than I am able to identify, e.g., numbers separate by colons and then letters, e.g., f2:32:7b:72, et.c ( not a real one but you get the point).  How do I find out what these are and whether I need them or should delete them?  ANd a few of them are OFFLINE DEVICES.  What the heck does that mean, other than the obvious? TIA

I did a search and not all them were identified.  The ones that were are Hewlett Packard (printer?); ASUSTek COMPUTER INC (laptop yet it was listed as offlin e device amd the laptop has a name on the devices this is the MAC); Intel Corp (chip?); and ARRIS Group, Inc (no idea on this.)

Are these showing to be connected through Moca?
I faced a similar situation. Tech came in and found that no Moca filter is attached to line outside the house . You can schedule an appointment if you are facing intermittent connection as well

Funny you should say that because I do have intermittent connection and there are 3  unknown devices on MoCA that I do not recognize and the settings say privacy is disabled yet no apparent way to change that.  Thanks

I am on a chat with Xfinity now and it is so confusing.  Here are some excerpts.  I am so confused now.

I want to inform you that Moca filter is for cable service through Internet. Moca filter needs to be enable only for wireless cable boxes. Moca privacy needs to be disabled to get your wireless box working. Wireless cable box are those which are connected to your Internet through WIFI and not by wire. The Internet service is not effected with this setting as it is meant for the cable boxes in the house(videos service). Wireless box refers to Modem. Modem is different and wireless cable box is different.  You don't have a wireless cable box on the account. Moca privacy is disabled so that your Modem can work. Moca filter is used only for cable service. Moca privacy needs to be kept disabled for Internet service which is already there on your gateway.

Don't share it here. Send it to him in a private message.

Not an expert on moca and moca filter. But my tech said all xfinity devices connects to create Xfinity hotspot. Each line has moca filter installed. Mine didnt had, so istarted facing intermittent internet connection and interference with other networks. Devices started showing in xfi and on modem login page. These devices were unknown. I tried to explain the problem on chat and call but no body could understand. Even tech who came to house said this is unbelievable. He tried every thing and finally installed a filter. Problem solved
