VPN connection not being made and dropping connection when it does
Trying to connect to the internet with my software based VPN, nordVPN.
I've tested connections with the VPN, on, off and split tunneling. It seems as long as my computer is on the VPN or trying to connect to it, I cannot use the internet.
- I have checked and rechecked all connections
- I have rebooted both the computer and router often - no effect
- I have disabled Advanced Security
- I have tried working using Bridge mode.
- I have connecting directly to the router with no other connections.
- I have tried removing and reinstalling the VPN application (NordVPN).
My hunch is that this is not a connectivity issue but rather a networking management thing happening. Comcast currently does not have the right to restrict or throttle legal traffic.
