vpn access issues

I am unable to access my employer’s vpn. I have used the Xfinity assistant and tried to change my gateway address. The last number is grayed out so that I cannot complete it.

@user_nvciv6 I'm sorry to hear you're unable to connect to your employers VPN. I work from home and understand how important it's to be connected for work. 

Is it only the VPN that's not working and everything else is good with connecting?
