Very High internet data usage

I’m getting every month warnings of high data usage even when we are not using it at all. During month of August when we were out of town on vacation for at least 3 weeks and internet was  disconnected !!! We use to have old comcast plan for 8 GB per month and we never used it to the fullest….what was left was added to our next month. etc.  I think Xfinity is over charging customers stealing our data. Just now in November we disconnected our internet for 3 or 4 days ( because of data warnings) and we already “used up 6GB of data ?? And now we see that we aren’t the only ones affected!!! This just pure ripoff !!! We are going to stop to this and dump XFINITY !
