URGENT: Routing Issue in Game

I am playing Oldschool Runescape and i'm playing on West Coast servers but i am being routed to East Coast servers, rendering the game unplayable and xfinity needs to do something about it. multiple people i know cannot play for 10 minutes without disconnecting

extreme packet loss on only this game, every other device or service i use has good stable connection except for this game ( its not the games fault)

@mizers96 I am sorry that you are having issues with playing the game. I know my gamer wife would feel the same way. Since this is happening only on this game it does point to being the game. Have you reached out to the game for additional assistance?

Haven't got a reply for game support yet, i put in a ticket. i was hoping if xfinity could help in any way they could. Here is a tracert of one of the game worlds

My internet during this spike is fine and stable so its not on my end by looking at these pings.

It is possible that this issue could be due to a connection issue. As much of the game content is streamed to your computer from the game worlds while you play, any kind of connection issue which may limit how quickly and accurately your computer can communicate with the game worlds can severely impact your in-game experience.
 
I recommend that you follow our Common Connection Solutions, to ensure this issue isn't being affected by any kind of connectivity problem. Please also be sure to follow our firewall exceptions steps, as this will ensure your router is configured to allow your system to communicate correctly with the game worlds and our websites.
 
If you are using a wireless connection, please try using an ethernet cable to connect your computer to your router. Although wireless connections are convenient, they were not designed with gaming in mind, so it is usually best to use an ethernet cable, particularly while troubleshooting.
 
It is also possible that your internet security software could be preventing the game client from loading, please check your security settings to ensure this is not impacting your connection to our services.

Additionally, please note that we do not support or endorse the use of VPNs when connecting to our services. If you're using a VPN and experiencing connection problems, we can only advise that you try disabling it before launching the game or accessing our services. This is likely to resolve the issue you're experiencing.

i have done everything mentioned in their reply and still getting the issues mentioned above

once the latency spikes up from 35-40ms to 70-90+ for multiple minutes it will go back down for sometime then come back again which causes freezes and disconnections from the game

my Latency to other IP's and servers does not go up while this is happening (discord,CMD live ping tests to IP's etc) it only happens in this game
