Urgent Billing Dispute – Incorrect Charges for 6 months after Service Cancellation
I am writing to formally dispute the monthly internet service charges that have been billed to my account despite my service cancellation request in July 2024. I have been charged $84 per month from August 2024 through February 2025, totaling $588, even though my cancellation notice was submitted before these charges began.
Upon reviewing my Comcast portal, I see that my old address is still associated with my account, indicating that your system has not updated my cancellation request properly. I kindly request that you:
- Immediately stop auto-debiting my account for this incorrect charge.
- Issue a full refund of $588 for the wrongful charges to my bank account.
- Update your system to reflect that my service was canceled in July 2024, ensuring that no further billing occurs.
Please respond as soon as possible with the steps being taken to correct this issue.
