See:

Realize that although Comcast calls some devices "Approved" and some "Recommended", for all but a few devices those designations only mean "approved/recommended for use with their Internet service", and not necessarily approved for the new upload speeds.

You need one of Comcast's newer rental gateways (XB6, XB7, XB8) or one of the few retail devices shown in the "Next Gen Speed Tier" group with an upload speed rating in the "All Compatible Devices" PDF.  Also see the Reddit link, which lists the approved retail devices as well as other requirements for faster upload speeds. Comcast could make all of this much clearer, but they have chosen not to do so.

Hello there @frankieum1! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out regarding the 100 Mbps upload speeds. Our amazing Community Expert @BruceW sent over some information, were you able to look over that?

The 100 Mbps uploads are part of our Next Generation upgrades to our network, and many of these have already been completed for major metropolitan areas such as San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago, with these upgrades going out to other areas from there, which may take additional time.

To sign up for notifications for when these upgrades will be coming your area (and how long that may impact your services) please visit our Next Gen Construction website.

FWIW. @BruceW is not among the Community Expert members. He is a Gold Problem Solver.
