user_sctpmk Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your upload speed concerns. With our speeds upload and download, we do try to overdeliver, so received speeds may be higher than what is included in your plan. With that, if you are checking the broadband facts page and see 117Mbps on the right next to Typical upload speed, your base upload would be 100Mbps. With that, you would only receive the increased upload speed in your area when using the correct equipment. Our Xfi-enabled gateways, of course, are compatible as well as any customer owned device on our Device info page that shows supports Enhanced Speeds.
Are you currently using one of our Xfi gateways or your own modem? If using your own modem, have you checked the device info page to confirm if it is capable of supporting the enhanced speeds?
If your current modem is not listed as one that supports enhanced speeds, it will receive the base upload speed for all plans at 35Mbps.
