upload speed slow on desktop
when I connect the same ehternet cable to my laptop I get 17 mb upload when I hook the same cable up to my desktop I either get an error of a very low upload speed .5mg using the xfinity speed test. I have also used another spped test program and get the same message. My download speed is fine around 900 plus mb.

I understand that you're experiencing some slow speeds, and you are running a speed test with an Ethernet cord. Can you tell me what troubleshooting steps you've already tried? Such as restarting your modem or performing any troubleshooting in the Xfinity My Account app? Also, are you using your own modem with a stand alone router or are you using our Xfinity gateway?
