Upload speed capped at 40Mbps even after switching to CODA56
I'm on the connect more plan. According to the plan, my upload is supposed to be around 100Mbps. I was using Motorola MG7550 and the upload was capped at 40Mbps, so I thought it was due to my modem. I just switched to the Xfinity recommended modem -- CODA56. After activating it, I'm still seeing 40Mbps upload speed. Searching through this forum, I'm assuming Xfinity needs to send some "update instructions" to my modem so the upload speed can be unlocked.
Please help.

After DM the support, they helped me to correctly recognize my CODA56 modem in their system and now I'm getting 150Mbps upload. Thank you.

First, try power-cycling / rebooting it. Unplug it from the AC power outlet. Wait 25-30 seconds. Power it back on and wait for it to fully sync up. Any joy ?

Ok @user_o4rb0s
You need to know if your area's infrastructure has yet been upgraded to their mid-split system for the Next-Gen speeds. Have you ever received an E-mail stating so ? Sometimes the cart gets put before the horse. If it has, then the issue is likely to be what @train_wreck stated.

You're welcome ! I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) who are available to these boards. They will be able to confirm the area and also confirm that the correct speed configuration file gets pushed to the modem. Good luck !
