Upload packet loss throughout the day

Hello

For months now, I have been having intermittent packet loss throughout the day. Its noticeable in video calls, website load times and games. During this time, I upgraded my equipment to a xfinity gateway which is less than a month old so that shouldn't be an issue. It may be something with the node path?

Thanks

Hey there, user_ysd8kx! Thanks for taking the time out of your weekend to post on our XFINITY Community Forum. It is not an enjoyable experience at all when you encounter intermittent connection issues. I know exactly what that’s like, especially when you need to complete your Internet errands. We are here to help with our Digital Care team! Are you connected wirelessly or hardwired to the modem when you encounter this issue?

Hello @XfinityNatalie . Thanks for looking into it.

I've experienced the issue across devices. I've noticed it on both wired and Wi-Fi connections.

Few other things I've tried:

I've run a traceroute that ended in time outs after about 20-30 seconds, but I know that traffic can be filtered. I've run a couple  online tests that indicate upstream packet loss. Last night my discord ping jumped to 4500 randomly every 20 minutes or so. One of the games I play has a network diagnostic overlay that also shows massive upstream packet loss.

Yesterday, I took all the other devices in my network off to rule out congestion. Same issues.
