Upgraded to 1000 Mbps, can't get speed past 600 MBps

I recently upgrade from 600 Mbps to 1000 MBps plan. I can't get more than 650 Mbps.

It appears to be provisioned correctly and all the Coax is all new with good signal levels. I am pulling at straws here. The only thing I found are my correctable errors are really high, higher than the unerror packets.

Figure it out. I’m on the Comcast rented equipment because it was the cheapest way to get the unlimited internet.

I was on the XB6 modem on bridge mode. On a hunch, I called in and asked for a Xb7 modem and they happened to have one. Hooked it up and was able to get 940 Mbps. That was it!
