Upgraded plan from 175mbps to 900mbps … still testing at 100 mbps
Hello. I upgraded my internet plan from 175 mbps to speeds up to 900mbps. After restarting my modem (NetGear CM600) and Router I’m still testing at or around 100mbps. Now I understand that I probably won’t get near 900 mbps speed, but obviously I think there’s a problem here. Could an employee please help? Thanks.

Same here. Upgraded from 300MBS 900MBS, but speed increase was about 70MBS. I begin to look for the problem. Modem Arris S33, so that was not the problem. Modem connected directly to PCIe Asus LAN adapter modem with CAT6 cable, so everything looks good in theory. The problem PCIe slot is 2.0 which by nature limits the speed to under 500MBS. The solution: New PC, new motherboard, not a very good choices. USB3 saves the day. $25 Asus USB-C2500 2.5 Gigabit adapter same CAT6 cable and now my speed is reaching 950 GBS even with mesh router in place Life is good.

I am experiencing the same issue. My wired download speed is still about 100-120Mbps after upgrading from 100 to 900 service.
