Upgraded Modem next gen modem + Gigabit x2 / upload speed capped 40mbps

I recently upgraded my plan to Gigabit x2, and have a next gen approved device (Arris G54).  However my upload speeds are capped at 40mbps.  How I can get this resolved?

Did you receive the E-mail from Comcast stating that the Next Gen upgrades have been completed in your market area ? Have you rebooted the modem lately ? If so, get in touch with their Customer service Dept. and have them check and confirm that the provisioning and the backend account data in their database is correct and complete and that the correct configuration / bootfile for your subscribed to speed tier is being pushed to the modem.

Yes, I have confirmed next gen upgrades for my area.  I have rebooted my modem a few times now.  Down I have 2,200 mbps, up I only have 40.

rained Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your upload speeds. Since activating your new modem, have you checked the Xfinity app to see if your G54 is showing? If your modem is not showing correctly in the Xfinity app, that can impact the speeds provided. For example, if your old modem is showing as the one active even though you have no issues with the new one, that can prevent the correct speed from being provisioned automatically. If you check your Xfinity app in the Wifi tab, in the view Wifi equipment option, if you tap where your gateway shows online, you will see gateway details tap there. If your current modem is not showing you can attempt the activation process again using the Xfinity app. In the account tab under the Devices section, pick activate Xfi Gateway or Modem and follow the steps. Once your G54 is showing it should help correct your speeds.  Let me know if your current modem is showing correctly or if you run into any issues with the steps I provided.
