Upgraded internet

Recently just upgraded internet from 250mps to 1.2gbps and still have around 250 mpbs download speed. Have reset gateway multiple times Have checked the logs in the router settings and have found nothing. Says there’s an outage in my area but internet has been working fine since upgrading just not getting the speed of 1.2gbs lol.

@user_f92aee I definitely understand how frustrating it would be to upgrade speeds and not be receiving them. I appreciate you providing me the troubleshooting steps you have already taken as well as the information regarding a service interruption in your area. I'd like to look at the account and make sure that you have a modem capable of receiving the speeds you are subscribed to and that it was provisioned properly after you made that change. Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it
