Upgraded internet speed, however the download speed has not changed
On 11/15/23 AM, I upgraded my internet speed from 400 Mbps to 1 Gbps. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any change in my download speed (still in the 400 Mbps range). My upload speed has ~ doubled from 11 to 22 Mbps.
I have an XB7 modem, which power cycled shortly after a Xfinity rep upgraded my internet speed. I have also restarted the modem using the Xfinity app since the upgrade. The PC is connected to the modem with a Cat 5e ethernet cable. I also tried using a different ethernet port on the XB7 to no avail.
Are you able to help troubleshoot this? Does the XB7 need to be reprovisioned? I'm at a loss as to what to try next and am hoping you can assist.
