Upgrade Now Internet

I recently purchased xfinity now wifi for $30 and been having it activated for 2 days now. The one I paid for is not fast enough for what I need and I wanted to upgrade. If I upgrade to the $45 a month plan would I have to pay the full thing or just the difference
