Unstable Connection to Twitch

Having issues with streaming / streaming to Twitch randomly throughout the day.

Timing is inconsistent, and all other sites work just fine when it happens.

I was having the exact same issue (live in Minnesota) this seems to be recurring a lot lately

I have had a technician come out, new modem new router, restarted devices, all with the same recurring result of random poor connections that effects the upstream for 30+ minutes at a time.

Hello @angies2 I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with streaming Twitch. I’m happy to troubleshoot with you to get to a resolution for your connection concerns. Are you home connected to your Wi-Fi when this happens? When this happens are you streaming or creating content?

Hardwired via Netgear Modem -> Orbi Router -> Switch.
Streaming to twitch.

Thanks for confirming @angies2! What troubleshooting have you done on your end thus far? Have you attempted to reboot the modem to see if that helps you gain a stable connection while streaming to Twitch? 

 

To manually reboot, please unplug the power cable from the back of the modem, wait 10-15 secs, plug the power cable back in, and allow 10 mins or less for the modem to reboot.
