Unsecured Wi-Fi connection

All devices say logged into unsecured Wi-Fi connection but the mobile app tells me my Wi-Fi connection is secured as well as none of my devices require my password to log on to my Wi-Fi it just says Wi-Fi name unsecure connection or something like that need help.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to reach out to our community forum regarding your wireless network, @SheenaPSU! Are you signing into a network called xfinitywifi by chance when you see that it's unsecured? If so, this would be a hotspot that's available for customers to log into. You can learn more about our hotspots here

@XfinityEmilyB no it’s not the xfinitywifi, it’s my network name. I did a factory reset on the gateway then called xfinity to set it up again and now it seems to be working.

I had the same problem, make sure that you hit the WPS button on your gateway and hopefully that will fix it

@user_bebb0e thanks, I didn’t even realize there was such a button. After a factory reset and a call to xfinity, it seems to be fixed now.
