Unlimited Data with my own modem

I am trying to add unlimited data to my account with my own modem. When I go to My Account / Manage Internet, i see a link to Add unlimited data to your Internet Plan, its telling me that I need new equipment.    I don't need a comcast modem nor do I want one.   There should be a way of changing to unlimited without having to be stuck to another 2 year contract.  Any suggestions on how this can be done?

I don't understand why this all had to change, when a majority of people now are working from home and streaming cable (since its so expensive) and then have a family using it.

If you want the Xfi Complete package w/unlimited, you'll need to use their gateway. If you need unlimited, it's the way to go. Put the gateway in bridge mode and then you can use your own router. The total cost will be $25/month.

If you use your own modem, the cost will be $30/month. Go here and click the "get unlimited" link.
