Unburied line severed, total internet outage"

A line that should have been buried was severed during repair work.
I have called 3 times about the cable, and was finally told it is Company Policy that any line on the customer’s property are the customer’s responsibility. I filed a complaint with the city because the line was in danger of being severed.
it is now been damaged and our internet service is completely out.

My room mate suggested that you go buy a FtF splitter, and attach 2 males to the severed cable, wrap it up electrical tape cover it with a strong bag (like a contractors bag) and bury it.

Keep hounding Xfinity to come out and replace the line.

I would seek account credits where applicable.
