Unbearable packet loss and poor stability in the Atlanta area.
For the past several weeks I have been experiencing repeated episodes of poor internet stability on my network. For 1-2 minute episodes a piece, my internet fully halts and i get 100% packet loss about 5-6 times an hour, for all hours of the evening (I'm never home in the morning or afternoon to know if it's all day). I have switched to ethernet (used several brand-new cables to ensure it's not that), disabled all other devices on my network, I've performed a factory reset on my router, I even fully re-installed windows to make sure it's not something software-related.
A very spot-able example is playing League of Legends. Every ~10-12 minutes, I will no longer be able to control my character. I can still SEE other players' actions and hear voice communication on discord, indicating that I can still to some extent receive downloaded packets, but can no longer send them. About 5-6 seconds following onset, the "downloaded" aspects of my connection cease as well, and I am fully disconnected.
At no point during this episodes does my connection to the router show any deviation from full bars. At this point in time, I am getting a more reliable experience from my mobile hotspot on T-Mobile than my home internet through Comcast, and it's infuriating. My router seems to be doing its job just fine. My internet speeds are completely unaffected outside of these packet-loss episodes, as I'm getting the speed I'm paying for. However, I am not getting the RELIABILITY that I am paying for. I am inches away from switching ISPs to the 3rd party internet provider my apartment provides through their end, because I'm not even being able to access the product I spend money on every month to use.
I'm a medical student and I get just a few hours a day to relax and unwind, often involving the internet in some way, and that's not even possible lately without making me more wound up than when I sat down to use it. I have reached out to support over the phone, and they do nothing more than a speedtest to let me know I'm connected to the internet with no issues, and am getting full speeds. This is strongly overlooking the bigger picture, and is an inaccurate measure of stability over the course of a random 15 second test.
I am on an XB7 router, I've tested on a Windows desktop with powerful hardware and an M2 MacBook Pro, all of which I've taken the time to sift through settings to make sure I'm not shorting myself on stability or speed when it comes to my connectivity. Hardware-wise, and on the basis of end-user, I should have my bases covered.
I just need some help figuring out why these drops are occuring. Anything is appreciated. Thank you.

Exact same issue here, Atlanta, Georgia. Playing league of legends and every 10-15 minutes, I experience full packet loss. I can see OTHER players still move, but lose the ability to issue actions. I can hear my team on discord but cannot speak to them. At this point, my mobile hotspot has been a more reliable means to play the game than my gigabit home internet plan lol.
