Unable to Rename Home Network

After a power outage I needed to reset the router and rename the network. The router is connected and functioning, but after submitting the correct name and password for my network, I get the loading window that says "Please give us a moment."

 

This has been going for at least 15 minutes with no changes. I don't recall this taking as long in the past. Currently using phone's hotspot to make these adjustments.

 

Is this a bug? Or is this linked to a browser or hotspot issue? Or can this take the better part of half an hour to be saved?

 

Any assistance is appreciated.

*UPDATE* I have also tried this using the default network with no connectivity issues. However, the "Changing WiFi settings" window is still showing. No changes.
