Unable to reach website ttwebversion.com routing issue with comcast in dallas.

As part of my son's math he uses a website called teachingtextbooks.com  In order to signin it redirects you to ttwebversion.com.  Up until about a week and a half ago he was able to get to the site no issues.  Now we are unable to get to the login site.  I think this has something to do with routing on the comcast network.  BTW, works fine on AT&T's LTE network at at work.  Here's the info I dug up.  Where would I submit a routing issue with comast in dallas?  Their helpdesk can't seem to do anything for me.

For (faster) response/support you might call 800-COMCAST  and have them open a trouble ticket for a routing or network issue.  Ask the agent either to transfer you to level 2 tech support or escalate the ticket.  

My traceroute completes fine going from comcast.net to cox.net, coxinet.net to the destination:

I've had the same problem reaching teaching textbooks online site with xfinity.  Level 2 support wasn't able to help.  They kept telling me it's my modem when I could clearly see the packets leave my home network.  

 

I found via tracert that one of the hops was to a router in Hong Kong.  Why I don't know.  Anyway, In Chrome I found if I use the extension Hola  I'm able to use teaching textbooks 3.0.  

 

Teaching Textbooks should be using SSL, but maybe it's too costly for them.

So I'm onto 5 hours with support.

 

3 transfers back into the call queue so the technican wouldn't have to deal with me and 1 transfer to advanced technical support and 1 call to ATS.  

 

I'm finally working on trying to get to a manager as most of the CS reps and ATS reps are fixated on fixing my computer or firewall.  Its really a routing issue from my location.  I have a couple routes from a different locations around my house and they have a different route.  They head out to sunnyvale, ca.  Mine heads over to denver, then down to dallas and fails.

 

Thanks for the note about Hola.  I can look at using a proxy service after I give up on comcast.

So Comcast sent a tech to my house and the tech knew of the routing issue with specific sites.  The cases he had seen were financial institutions.  He took the traceroute from my computer  and the name of the website.  Strangley enough the guy actually talked about networks with me, didn't check the cables at my house and was brief in his visit.  It was very refreshing, however I don't know that it will be resolved quickly.  I pointed him to some routing convergence I had seen from others around my home who had comcast and who were working.

 

I do think that the phone support people were way too scripted and had a checklist of things to go through.

As with @jav6joev above, I can reach the site. When one customer cannot reach a site but others can, it usually means the site is blocking that customer's public Comcast IP. You can look up your IP at https://www.google.com/search?q=IP. You'll probably need to ask the site's admins for help with this. It is unlikely to be a routing problem.

***RESOLVED****

The comcast tech that came out to my house reported to me this evening that it was fixed.  I tested and it surely is working.
