Unable to port forward 25565 even with my own router

I have a Asus RT-BE88U router along with my own modem a Hitron CODA56, and I used to be able to open a port on whatever I wanted with zero issue and recently maybe a month or two ago I suddenly can't do that anymore with no warning. I have no done anything different compared to when it was working to now, I am just confused as to why it suddenly doesn't work and if there is anything I can do to fix it.

I ran into a similar issue, although I was unable to port forward from the get-go because i'm under a CGNAT. You can use a tunneling service to get around the need to port forward, there are free options out there for minecraft specifically.

user_j2nqbu Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your port forwarding. Since you are using your own equipment you may need to reach out directly to the manufacturer. However, I did notice that you mentioned in a different comment that you are only receiving 100 Mbps instead of 300.

Did this start when you became unable to open the port forwarding? Can you share how you are running that speed test? Is it via Wi-Fi, connected via Hardwire connection to your router or a switch, or connected directly to the modem while bypassing the router itself? The more information you can provide the better we will be able to help with troubleshooting.
