Unable to connect to Riot Valorant servers

Hello,

I'm having issues connecting to the Riot Valorant servers. They were working fine up until Friday (March 4th) and since then, I've been getting Error VAL 7, 29, 59.

I went through the RIOT support and help and did all the steps to try to fix it.

Added the programs to the firewall, disabled the firewall, uninstalled Vanguard and reinstalled. Reinstalled the whole game. Still same issue.

To further confirm that its not a PC issue, I installed the game on a laptop and ran into the same connectivity issue.

All seems to point to the ISP but when I called the technical support line, they ran a modem reboot and said that everything looks good on that side and that it is most likely the game server.

I highly doubt that since it would be something that more people would be facing.

I ran a traceroute to the Valorant NA servers and it seems to be that there is an issue as it doesn't look the same as when running a traceroute to google.com for example.

I do have my own modem and gateway and I checked that they have no issue and they are both up to date in their firmware versions.

I'm at a loss on what to do next.

Same problem going on here for any Riot games like League of Legends and Valorant.  Cannot log in.  Sacramento, California area.  Started about 2 weeks ago with whatever recent Xfinity update.  Need to fix it on Xfinity's end.  Have done every single troubleshooting (Restarting router, port forwarding, DNS changes, etc.).  This must be fixed by Xfinity.

Have been working with Valorant tech support too.  They recognize this as a regional issue and have supposedly reached out to Xfinity

From Valorant/Riot Tech Support:

"Thanks for providing those results. I'll be sure to get this sent in to our teams to help investigate further. Again, this seems to be mainly affecting players with Xfinity/Comcast in MN. and we don't have any ETAs on a fix as of now, but hopefully we can find one soon."

Quick update: Started working Friday night, connected to client server fine. No issue since.

Why is xfinity blocking ports for online games? I can't update or play mobile games on wifi because the apps can't connect. Tech just keeps reboo5ing modem. Your tech support doesn't seem capable to understand that the issue lies in your infrastructure. Only reason I'm still a customer is because there are no competitors in my area with the speeds I want.
