unable to add device to wifi

I added a printer to my network two weeks ago and have not been able to connect my roku device to wifi since then. roku worked previously. i have since removed the printer from the network but it did not help. i have uplugged and restarted gateway and roku ad naseum and have used xfinity assist multiple times to no avail. cannot get a live person for help. what do i do now??

Hello @user_03502u, Thank you for taking the time out of your day to leave a post. Sorry to hear you are having issues connecting your Roku to your Wi-Fi. When connecting the Roku, does it show your network name? If so when you try and connect does it give an error message?

It does not show then network name until I enter it and enter the password for the network. It then does not connect to the network and tells me to restart the roku and the router and try again. i have done so repeatedly to no avail. xfinity assistant has been useless because all "systems' test as "great health." it is frustrating beyond words.

@user_03502u, thank you for providing the details. Have you also tried resetting the network settings on the Roku?
