Ubiquiti UCI Nextgen X2 only 40Mbps Upload

I upgraded to the Nextgen X2 last week and upgraded my cable modem to the UCI this week. I am getting the expected 2.3Gbps download speeds but I am limited to 40Mbps upload. The cable is directly connected to the modem, there are no internal splitters or filters. I am not sure if there's a signal issue or a provisioning issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Hello, unfortunately this no longer seems to work to send a private message. Is there a different way?

I am having the same issue and just provisoned a Unifi UCI mode On my gigabit x2 plan. I am happy with my 2+ gigabit measured down speeds but maxing out between 20-30mbps on upload. With this hardware I should be getting 300mbps upload speed.


I had a tech already come out and we checked everything and fixed the issues to get my download speeds optimized but I was told it might need to be provisioned for 2000+ down and 300+ up

Thank you for reaching out to us here @kex_usero. If you are still having those upload speed issues, have you ran through the troubleshooting steps on the Xfinity app and reset the modem?

Hi there. I signed up to reply as I'm having this exact issue with the same equipment as the original poster. I've called into support 3 times and have not had any resolution. At this point, they suggested sending a tech out, but it seems like a provisioning issue.

2gig down works perfect. But the upload stays capped at 40Mbit. Direct ethernet connection on the Gigabit x2 plan. I actually had an Arris S33 prior to the UCI, and decided to buy the UCI in hopes of solving this, but the issue remains.

I tried following the above instructions to DM Xfinity support but am confused. Is that through the Xfinity assistant?
