What type of router should I buy on this Prime day that’s compatible with Xfinity network?

This is actually a rather complicated question and there is no one size fits all answer.

Do you want a combination cable modem/WiFi router or just a WiFi router that would be used with a separate modem or an xFinity gateway in bridge mode?  Most separate WiFi routers will work as long as you have a supported modem or an xFinity gateway running in bridge mode.

What plan speed to you have, and what are you thinking you might have in the next few years?

How large is your home?  Larger homes need multiple WiFi access points/nodes/extenders for good coverage.

Hey there @user_zp4b66, this is a great time to take advantage of those sales, so that's smart to get what you need now lol. If you own your own modem or plan on getting a modem/router combo, you can make sure your Device is Compatible with your speeds. I won't be able to advise on any 3rd party devices over another, but that will be a great place to make sure you're getting something that will fit your needs. Was there a particular reason you were looking to get a new device, like connection issues?
