I tried this strategy, but when I enable bridge mode, it turns off the ethernet internet access. Is there any way to disable all wifi and just run off ethernet? (I disabled 2.4, 5, AND the xfinity hotspot, but my RF meter is still picking up high signals).
@user_7a189f When in Bridge Mode, only 1 port will work. In bridge mode, you need a stand-alone router to be connected to port number 1. You can connect a splitter or stand-alone router to the port to allow additional ports. Do you notice a connection through port 1?

FWIW, you would need to use a router for additional ports. A splitter or ethernet switch will only allow one connection as there is only one (public) IP address assigned in bridge mode.

Hello @user_ff581c!
Welcome to the Xfinity Forums.
I'm glad you reached out to us for help with this.
If you are using a leased gateway, you can check out this nifty guide on enabling bridge mode on your gateway.
This function normally used to pass router functionality to a personal device, but if you aren't using a separate router it just disables the wifi. :)
Let us know if this works for you or if you could still use a hand.
