turn off split band
My device is set up in two bands. How do I shut it off? When I try to go into the settings and turn it off the slider won't move.

Which modem do you have? Also, is there a specific reason you want to split the bands? Keeping them combined under one network name (SSID) is the optimal setup.

Not necessarily. FWIW. Many older tech client devices do not play nicely with combined bands. They don't know how to see / talk to combined SSID's.

Hello @user_saokef, Thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear you are having issues toggling the split band function. Are you using the Xfinity app, or did you log into the modem? Is the split band greyed out, or when you toggle it off, does it not stay? Have you tried logging out of the app and then back in, to try it?
