Turn off 5Ghz network

How do I temporarily turn off my 5Ghz network until I connect a device which only works with 2.4Ghz?

There should be no need to turn it off. If a device only support 2.4GHz, then it will only see that signal.

Device is set up via my phone, which is connected to the 5Ghz network. I since resolved it, thanks.

I am in the same boat now, however my solution doesn't seem so easy. I am trying to get an IP Camera onto my network, but it doesn't support 5g. I know it SHOULD be able to just connect to 2.4, but the instructions specifically say that two networks with the same UID (as required by Xfinity) confuses the system and will not allow a connection.

I am in NEED of being able to disable my wifi. As this was the only option still active in the router's web admin (Enable, Disable) I tried that but using a wifi analyzer shows that it is still active. There is no control for this than I can find on the online xfi system.

What do I do?
