Hello, @user_x3ot2w Most new gateways and routers, like Xfinity’s Wireless Gateway, use something called dual-band WiFi. This means they send out two signals — one at 2.4 GHz and one at 5 GHz. Some older or simpler devices don’t work well with both signals. A dual-band router uses the same name and password for both signals. It picks the best one to give you a stronger connection. This helps most of your devices work better at home. If your device is not allowing a dual-band connection what brand of camera is it? We may have a workaround.

Hello! I'm having the same issue.  Need to have access to 2.4 to connect my home camera to new Gateway XB8.  Please share the steps to connect.

@EG I have seen these articles.  It says that if I don't see the option to have a 2.4, that it is being managed automatically.  Thus, not allowing users to split the band, but splitting the band is the option needed.
