Troubleshoot WiFi extension

Hi, I have an Xfinity xFi Pod (model XE2-SG) that’s shown as offline in the Xfinity app for [X hours/days]. I’ve already tried: unplugging and re-plugging it multiple times, moving it directly next to the Gateway, and using the in-app troubleshoot tool — none of it worked. It briefly shows a blue light like it’s trying to pair, then goes to a blinking white/orange light and never turns solid. Can you check the pod’s connection status from your end, push a reset or reprovision to it, or let me know if it needs to be replaced?

user_mikail how are you? Are you able to confirm if the Pod is working or if it's just displaying offline in the app? It sounds like the Pod is not working. Did you reset the modem also?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. The Pod is definitely not working, not just showing offline in the app. The LED comes on initially, but it won’t stay on or complete the connection.

I’ve also reset the modem/router, and it still isn’t working.. so it appears the equipment needs to be replaced. Could you please help me with the next step and getting a replacement arranged?

No problem @user_mikail. When did you buy the Pod? They come with a 30-day money-back guarantee and a one-year limited hardware warranty. This article will help us return them if eligible. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/return-exchange-xfi-pods
