Trouble reconnecting HP 6700 printer to XB8 router

I recently replaced my router with an XB8.

All my devices reconnected to the wi-fi network, except my HP 6700 printer.
I've run the setup wizard on the printer multiple times. It sees the network, but will not connect. I get a "Unable to connect to network" error. The diagnostic info and "?" are not helping me.

Any suggestions?

@user_c43rb8 Good morning! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to our Xfinity Forums Team. I've been there before with getting devices to connect after swapping equipment. I'm here to help get everything up and running for you. Do you by chance know what the connection requirement is for your printer? Sometimes it looks for the 2.4 network. Which it should automatically recognize when connecting to your network.

I do not know what the network requirement is for the printer.
Does this wireless network test give us any info on what the issue might be?

I would love to know if you resolved this since I am having the same issue as you, but with an HP5520.  I have spent probably 3 ours searching... I did find where I could add my MAC address, but still the printer can't connect.

Hello,
I was able to connect the printer by changing the security setting from WPA3 to WPA2. Not really happy about having to use a lower level of security, but it has been working.
I'm sorry, I tried so many things, I don't remember exactly how I changed the setting. I think it was through the Xfinity gateway in a browser.
Here are the instructions I received for doing that:
1. Access your Xfinity gateway's settings via a web browser (at 10.0.0.1).
2. Log in using your credentials.
3. Navigate to the Wi-Fi or Security settings.
Good luck!
