Hi. what I have to do, to get firmware update? I see bugs in parental control which were fixed in firmware update.

Hello @user_b68c22! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Xfinity Forums for help with this.

 

For the most part (unless you've changed your settings), your firmware should update automatically. If it doesn't you can try rebooting your gateway or manually checking for updates in your admin settings. 

 

We would love to help you through this process though! Can you tell us what types of troubleshooting steps you've already tried?

@XfinityTambrey i did reboot device, but still old firmware. 
v1.1.0 Build 20160812 Rel515810

in admin, there isn’t any option to force update. 
any suggestions?

If you aren't getting the most recent firmware then there is a chance it just hasn't rolled out to your area quite yet. It's not something that we can manually push to your equipment. 

 

What kinds of issues are you having with your parental controls?

I no longer work for Comcast.
